yeah, it's kinda crappy to be honest and i dont think it's just a fox thing either. Probably over-greasing to assume the owners with either just upgrade right away or never take them apart so better be safe than sorry..

Even more junk on the volume spacers that i didnt get pictures of. Maybe they have overstock in grease.............................................? :bananadead:

    not enough.
picked up a new 2024 altitude. I swapped out the parts on my old altitude with this one since i liked them better.

this thing....absolutely rips. it's definitely a bit more of a pig to pedal but holy cow, talk about downhill performance. I am stoked for this riding season for sure.

old bike to be on sale soon though.

I have a WheelDeal (by TMCmakes) that I don't use anymore. The spacers are 3" and were designed to clear a Leer 100XR shell (for a 29" wheel to not hit the upper inward angle of the shell). I will happily give it to any of y'all for the price of shipping. Any locals interested I can meet you and hand it off.

It's designed for boost hub spacing. One of the spacers is machined to accept the axle when not hauling a wheel. This was a prototype for spacing a wheel out for a shell/cap. The spacers are raw, not powdercoated. Includes all your need to use...double t-nut, hardware, Wheel Deal, axle & spacers.

First ride in a while at the grand hogback system in rifle. Excellent trail system that they keep adding too.

That would be an an INTENSE. That particular model is the equivalent to the Primer. The shorter travel version is similar top the Sniper. They rebranded a few years ago to get their bikes in Costco.

That's a better price than I've seen some of those. Feel like when I first saw them, were 2500 ish. If they went on sale at 1800 I'd say it could be the BEST value entry level "real" bike. YT and Canyon are still a bit more expensive than that with Aluminum frames...

My co worker had an Intense snd absolutely loved it. He had the short travel XC bike. He had it on a rear rack and got rear ended and the bike was beyond repair. I think he's on a Niner now that he found on sale locally to replace it.

I raced one of the WV enduro series today at cacapon state park, wow are those some good trails. It rained a lot over the last week including yesterday so the trails were super muddy in some spots and most of the rocks were slick throughout. About 15 miles total and almost 3200ft of climbing.

the spire is awesome still. The zeb feels much better after the lower service. I might take a spacer out but riding it on terrain it’s meant for really shows why it’s that stiff. It amazes me how it eats up some of these bigger rocks. One stage had this super slick drop into a root with more mud/water and it just felt so confidence inspiring pushing through it. Carbon bars are still a must with this fork but I’ve been slacking. IMG_6758.jpg IMG_6769.jpg IMG_6782.jpg

selling my old rocky mountain altitude.

Although "old" might be the wrong way to put it. it's a mixed bag of mostly new components on the frame. Let me know if you or anyone you know wants a look.

Vouch for @ginseng27! Solid dude that totally won't scam you. He will take a beer out of your truck fridge if he sees your truck at a trailhead though!

(He did exchange it with a couple Coors yellowjackets though, so that was nice.)

Bend or Whistler the week of June 10-14 for my birthday? (or other?)

Looks like all the WBP areas are or will be close to opening that prior weekend
