Shoot, my Taco’s motor has banged off the limiter in 4LO. So I know Toyota USA has that part covered! They do mention hard pulling in the manual.

Longo sold me a new 1999 Tacoma SR5 2 wheel drive for $14,000 plus tax and license in 1999. How much for a new one now? Gas was 33 cents a gallon when I bought my first car in 1972. The bad news is the wife wants a new Lexus.
